CARMICHAEL, CA - November 18, 2014 we lost a very important young man in our lives. Our son, brother, nephew, cousin and very close friend.
Ajay was a fighter from the beginning of his life. He was loved by everyone he met. As we remember his big eyes and smile of joy, it will sorely be missed by all he touched.
Ajay was very generous and self-giving in all of his actions. Ajay started his life in Calcutta, India. At the age of 3 months he was adopted by his mother, Kim Kirkman & Paul Romer (they later divorced). Ajay and his mother made their home together in Tremonton, UT and later moved to Clinton, UT.
He loved most sports, football being his most favorite. He loved playing basketball with his friends. Camping and fishing were also a great enjoyment to him. His heart was filled with a strong love for his mother. He had a special connection with animals. He always had a love for traveling, and was able to enjoy some traveling while working as a cell phone lineman.
He graduated from Mountain High School in Kaysville, Utah in 2005, he then went on to attend Salt Lake Community College in Salt Lake City, Utah. When he moved to California 4 years ago, he made even more friends from his native country, India.
Surviving are his parents, Max and Kim Kirkman (Clinton, UT); sister, Nicole Jean Kirkman (Riverton, UT)
and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents (Stuart & Charlene Cornwall), Uncle (Shane Cornwall), and many other family members.
Viewing and condolences will be held from 9:00-10:30 a.m., Friday, November 28th, at Rogers and Taylor Mortuary in Tremonton, UT (111 N 100 E). A service will be held at 11:00 at the same location. Interment will be at the Elwood, UT Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ajay Madan Romer's name at gofundme.com/hr61h4.
