TREMONTON – Amanda Hawkes, 37, passed away on August 26, 2015 in Iowa City, IA.
Amanda was born on February 23, 1978 in Logan, UT. She is survived by her parents, Ed and Debra Quinn of Garland, UT; her daughter Elizabeth Black of Garland, UT; her father, Blair Hawkes of Bear River City, UT; 2 brothers, Mathew Hawkes of Tremonton, UT and Jim Quinn of Gold Beach, OR; Grandmothers, Wilma Fridal of Elwood, UT and Sennith Hawkes of Bear River City, UT; and grandparents, Marv and Mary Quinn of Plymouth, UT.
She loved spending time with family and friends. She loved being outdoors and spending time with her daughter crafting, reading, writing and just visiting and laughing. She had a heart of gold, she would do anything and everything she could for people she knew and she would try to help out anyone she just met.
One of her greatest loves was going on the motorcycle, rain or shine, she always tried to make it on the charity rides with her best friend and love, Bill Deruwe.
Funeral services will be on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tremonton Stake Center (600 N. 300 E.) with a viewing prior to the service from 9-10:30 a.m. Burial will follow the service at the Bear River City Cemetery.
