Annette Nicholas Richards died February 27, 2013 in Logan Utah. She was born December 9, 1920 in Ogden, Utah to Harold Cole Nicholas and Elsie May Mourant Nicholas. She grew up in Ogden Utah and attended Ogden schools. She was in the first class of students to graduate from the new Ogden high school. She worked at Woolworths and later worked at Hillfield Air Force Base. Annette was introduced to Rex E. Richards on a blind date. After waiting two years for him to return from his LDS mission to Hawaii, she met him on his way home in Mesa Arizona April 20, 1943 to be married in the Mesa LDS temple. They resided in Fielding Utah for the rest of their lives on the family farm. There they raised seven children who were married for time and all eternity and still are. She devoted her life to her family. Her home was a gathering place for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her dear friends. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and she loved cooking and baking pies. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, brother Harold George Nicholas, sister Betty Lou Rounds Brown, daughter Jeannette Richards Larson, grandson Timothy Craig Richards, great grandson Carson Drew Richards, and great granddaughter Ally Meyer. She is survived by her sister Norma McKee, Ogden, Utah, children Jerry Rex (Joan) Richards, Randee (Earl) Owen, Lynn H. (Christy) Richards, James H. (Karen) Richards, Fielding Utah, Carol (Eli) Anderson Bothwell Utah, Lee N. (Norma) Richards Hyde Park, Utah, son-in-law Mark H. Larson, East Garland, Utah, 32 grandchildren, 85 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fielding Stake Center (4375 W 15600 N Fielding, UT), there will be viewings on Sunday evening, from 6-8 p.m. as well as Monday Prior to services from 9:30-10:30 a.m., both at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Fielding Cemetery.
