Annivor Bourne

Annivor Bourne, age 90, passed away on May 28, 2024, in St George, Utah. She was born January 2, 1934, in Bear River City, Utah to Erastus Marinus Petersen and Alice Hansen.  

She attended school in Bear River City, Utah. Unique to her, she was taught by her older sister Vernell who was very strict but also very kind.

Ann and LaMar eloped to Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later sealed on October 20, 1973, in the St George, Utah temple. After being married a few years, LaMar and Ann moved to Las Vegas. LaMar taught school and Ann worked at a casino as a change girl. She also worked at ZCMI and had other part time jobs to supplement the family budget.

Ann was an avid reader and loved to put together puzzles. She loved to get together with her sisters and play games. Ann loved to spend time with family. She treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She looked forward to reuniting with her beloved LaMar, who she missed greatly after his passing in 2021.

Ann is survived by her sons Jeff and Brad; daughters Lori and Alicia; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband LaMar and daughter Debra. 

A graveside will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 1 P.M. at the Bear River City Cemetery (5550 N 4600 W- Brigham City, UT).
