Barbara Ann Beagley

August 28, 1954 — July 20, 2024

Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on July 20, 2024, in Snowville, Utah due to cancer and other complications.

Barbara was born August 28, 1954, in Lehi, Utah, to Newell Brown Jr. Turner and Alberta Beth Brown Turner. She was raised in Lehi with her sister, Judy. She attended schools in Lehi.

Barbara joined the Utah National Guard in 1989 and was later deployed to serve in Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in 1990. She served as a pharmacy tech during her time in the military, and subsequently worked as a pharmacy tech at LDS Hospital for many years in Salt Lake City.

She married James Beagley in December 1994 and blended their family. They lived in Salt Lake City and Lehi before moving to Snowville, Utah in October of 2013. There, she was able to enjoy her quiet life with her animals, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and hedgehogs. She enjoyed reading, cooking, crafts, and puzzles.

Barbara was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved spending time in the temple, as well as serving as the Gospel Doctrine teacher in her Snowville ward.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; her children Jason, Jenny, Randi, Heidi, Matthew, Summer & Lisa Mariah; her stepchildren Michael, Deanna, Jennette; along with 31 grandchildren and 9 ½ great grandchildren.

Interment will take place in the columbarium at the Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park in Bluffdale, Utah.
