Barbara Scarborough

November 23, 1957 — December 21, 2019

Barbara Ann Wikstrom Scarborough passed away peacefully on December 21st, 2019 in Pocatello, Idaho after a long battle with an illness she just couldn’t fight anymore. Bobbi Ann was born November 23, 1957 in Ogden, Utah to Mona and RJ Wikstrom. She attended Ben Lomond High School and graduated in 1976.

Bobbi Ann loved spending time at the family cabin in Avon, Utah with her Grandpa Rogers. She cherished every minute with him; they had a special bond!

Bobbi Ann’s greatest blessing in life were her 2 children, Taryn-Marie and Houston, and her grandchildren Aspyn, Braeden, Braxton and Bridger.

She excelled in her schooling. She attended Weber State University and the University of Utah. She received her associate’s degree and bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She was a  licensed LSW. She worked as a social worker in Pocatello, Idaho for many years.

She also had a love for all animals and her kitties. Anyone that knew her knew she always had cats around. She would rescue them from anywhere.

The family would like to give a huge thanks to everyone who was there for her in her last remaining days, her dear friend Suzanne and numerous nurses and doctors. Also a big thanks to  Bishop Myers who was a big support to her and her children during this difficult time. Bobbi Ann is at peace now as our hearts here are broken. We will survive, and she will forever be in our hearts. Mom, we love you!!

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered “Come to me.” A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best!!

Bobbi Ann is survived by her children, Taryn (Shawn) Hart, Pleasant View; Houston (Miranda) Scarborough, Montana; Steve (Margo) Wikstrom, South Ogden; Jeff (Suzanne) Wikstrom, Tremonton; and a lot of dear friends in Pocatello.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her mom and dad, and her dear friend Wendy.
