Beatrice Eliza Lott Eggli, 86, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, in Garland, Utah. She was born in Fielding, Utah, on August 18, 1938, to Peter Herman Lott and Nettie Eliza Godfrey Lott.
She graduated from Bear River High School with the Class of 1956. She married Floyd William Eggli of Bothwell, Utah, on November 3, 1961, in the Logan LDS Temple. They were blessed with six children: Carl (Trish), Carrie (Brian) Plyer, Clint (Luceta), Casey (Holly), Craig (Stephanie), and Chris (Cortnie).
Bea worked at City Financial and Thiokol before becoming a full-time mother. Bea was a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a powerful testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ that strengthened and blessed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bea held many callings in her ward, including Gospel Doctrine teacher and many Primary, Mutual, and Sunday School callings. Her favorite calling was Blazer Scout Leader for more than 10 years and after that the Scout Advancement Chairman for her ward. She helped many young men get started on their path in Scouting and watched the majority of them become Eagle Scouts including five sons and six grandsons. She was awarded the Silver Beaver, the highest, distinguished service award that a council can present to a volunteer leader. She always had a huge garden and a large fruit orchard that provided wonderful fresh produce and fruit through the summer. She would then can and bottle her harvest for use through the winter. She was an excellent seamstress. She made clothes, costumes, quilts, and provided alterations/repairs for her family. She worked side-by-side with Floyd on their family farm in Bothwell where they grew alfalfa, grain, safflower, and pine trees. They also raised cows, sheep, and chickens.
Bea is preceded in death by her parents and one brother (George), two sisters (Audrey and Janice), six half-sisters (Belva, Vernessa, Margie, Alta, Carol, and Fern) and eight half-brothers (Ivan, Calvin, Theon, Vernile, John, Ted, Mark, and Val Dean).
