Bernell Garbanati, 62, passed away April 17, 2011 at the IHC Hospital in Murray, UT. Bernell was born August 7, 1948 in Tremonton, UT to George M. and Clara Naomi Garbanati. Bernell married the love of his life, Debbie Jenkins Garbanati, on June 23, 1972. They welcomed into their family three children, Brandon, Jake and Jennifer and lived in Snowville for their life together. Bernell grew up in Snowville, UT and attended school in the Box Elder school system. He served for 4 years in the Army National Guard. He began working for ATK in 1970 and retired in 2010. His life was filled with the things he loved….his wife, his children and grandchildren, friends, hunting, fishing, the outdoors and golf (and the ranch). Bernell’s kind words and mischievous smile will be missed by those who knew him best. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Garbanati, his sons Brandon (Jodi) Garbanati and Jake (Leslie) Garbanati, and daughter Jennifer (Jacob) Barnes and 8 grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings Sherry (Neal) Schoenenberger, Elona (A.L.) Hansen, Geneal (Garry) White, and Craig (Lola) Garbanati. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Todd and sister in law Nelda, and grandchildren Mayzi Ann Garbanati and Jacob Eugene Barnes. A viewing will be held for friends and family to attend Friday April 22, 2011 at Rudd Funeral Home, 1234 S. Main, Garland from 6-8 pm. A viewing will be held April 23, 2011 from 10:00-11:15 a.m. at the Curlew LDS Chapel, 75 N. 100 E. in Snowville, Ut. Funeral services will follow the viewing at 11:30 am and interment will be at the Snowville Cemetery.
