Biography
Betty Marie Brady Morrison passed away on Saturday April 12, 2014. She was born January 3rd of 1930 to Clyde Everett Brady and Dorothy Irene Thomas Brady. She married Dale West Morrison on April 5th 1947.They had three children Carolyn Diane (Ray) Larsen, Kenneth Dale (Adelaida) Morrison, Judy Marie Cline, and Betty's step daughter Jean Ann Garcia. Betty has 15 grand children, 18 great grand children, and three great-great grandsons. She has two sisters Mildred Irene Metgger, Donna Louise McCall, and her half sister, Rose Marie Brady. Betty also has two brothers Harry Everett Brady and Lloyd Alvin Brady.
Betty at age 16 ran high powered sewing machines in an overall factory, and later started sewing for a friends child care, and also sold Avon products. Betty worked 8 years for Thousand Trails campgrounds teaching games, crafts, water exercises and more. Betty was an honorary member of the Utah sheriffs association. Betty was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on April 26, 2008 and confirmed a member on April 27, 2008.
Funeral services for Betty will be held Wednesday April 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Belmont 1st ward Church (16925 N 5200 W Riverside, UT). There will be a viewing held at the church prior to the funeral from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Plymouth Cemetery.
