Birdie Marie Hunter Frederiksen Peabody Our beloved mother was born June 5, 1926 in Heman, Fremont County, Idaho, the Daughter of Murray Clifford Hunter and Birdie Marie Grover Hunter. She was the third child of a family of 10 children, 7 girls and 3 boys. Three months after her 86th birthday, she passed away on Sept. 5, 2012 in Tremonton, Box Elder County, Utah, having lived in a nursing home for nearly 7 full years. Her first husband, Clarence O. Frederiksen, was killed in WWII. The only child of that union was Joyce Marie Frederiksen Peabody (Mrs. Ralph Steenblik). Her second husband, LeRoy Peabody (deceased), provided her with three more daughters: Theo "B" Peabody Clayton (deceased); Martha Lee Peabody (Mrs. Jerry Lawson); Betty "D" Peabody Bigler Mobley (deceased). She has 6 grandchildren (one is deceased); 15 Great Grandchildren; and three Great Great Grandchildren. Her surviving siblings include 3 sisters and 1 brother. Life-long active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Member of Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Worked at many jobs in different areas her of residences. Fulfilled a mission for the LDS Church in Salt Lake City at the Genealogy Library. Friends and family may call on Monday evening 6 to 8 pm at Rudd Funeral Home, 1234 South Main Garland, Utah. Funeral on Tuesday, Sept 11, 2012, 10:30 AM, at Garland Tabernacle -located at 140 West Factory St., Garland, Utah. Viewing preceding the funeral at the Garland Tabernacle beginning at 8:30 AM. Interment and short graveside service at 3:00 PM at Fielding Memorial Cemetery in Idaho Falls, Idaho, located at 4602 South Yellowstone Highway.
