July 8, 2012 marked the passing of Blaine Earl Hickman. Blaine was born on March 20, 1919. He is preceded in death by his wife; Elnora Litz Hickman, his parents; Warren Earl Hickman and Alta Pack Hickman; and two sisters; Barbara H. Daley and Veda H. Rankin. Those in his living family include eight children and their spouses; Winston and Donna Hickman, Vivian and Steven Terry, Michael and Marsha Hickman, Ineda and Deon Wilkes, Annette and Gary Christensen, Matthew and Nancy Hickman, Delila and Jon Webb and Stuart and Dawn Hickman. He and Elnora are the grandparents of 43, great grandparents of 98 and great great grandparents of 1.
Blaine spent his first 54 years in Stone, Idaho and Snowville, Utah. He married Elnora in 1941, served in the Army during World War II, was a farmer/rancher, operated a grocery store and served faithfully as an important member of the local communities and LDS Church. He and his family moved to Rawlins, Wyoming in 1973 before retiring with his beloved wife to Ogden, Utah in 1992. He has spent his declining years in Layton, Utah.

All are invited to a viewing on July 13 from 6 to 8 PM at the Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home in Tremonton Utah. (111 North 100 East) Another viewing is scheduled on July 14 at the Fairfield Rd. Chapel in Layton, Utah (380 South Fairfield Rd.) at 10 AM followed by a funeral at 11 AM. Interment will be at the Ben Lomond Cemetery in North Ogden, Utah.
