Elwood - On August 15, 2011 Bruce N. Moss passed away peacefully in his home in Elwood, Utah. He was born in Ogden, Utah on February 10, 1949. His parents were Neal Moss and Myrtle Wright. Bruce married Criste Lee Hill in Ogden, Utah on February 15, 1969. Bruce was raised in Ogden, Utah and moved to Tremonton in 1975 then again to Elwood in 1981. He went to Weber High School and attended Weber State University. He proudly served his country in the Navy as a Petty Officer First Class and Jet Engine Mechanic. Bruce was an amazing taxidermist and wood carver. He was past President of the Utah Taxidermy Association and retired from ATK with thirty six years of employment. He also enjoyed hunting and fly fishing. His whole life revolved around his family and friends. He was a member of the LDS church. He is survived by the love of his life Crissy, daughter: Julie (Shelby), Garland, UT, daughter: Holly (Casey), Malad, ID, and son: Neal (Jami), Garland, UT. He is also survived by his brother: William R. (Athleen) Moss, Layton, UT, sister: Ann (Frank) Pixton, Magna, UT and five grandchildren: Ashlee, Derek, Alexa, Hannah, and Daxton. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Gary Moss and Teddy Moss, and grandparents. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 19 at 11 AM at the Elwood Cemetery with Military Honors.
