TREMONTON- Charlene Udy, loving wife, mother and grandmother, died unexpectedly July 25, 2015 at the age of 59 while celebrating her birthday.
Charlene was born July 24, 1956. The State of Utah always gave her such wonderful birthday parties. She graduated from Bear River High School and married her true companion, Neal. Soon their sweet little girl arrived and their little family was complete. Charlene went on to attend Weber State University where she received her Degree in Radiology. She went on to specialize in Mammography. She loved her work and enjoyed her time at both Bear River Valley Hospital and Logan Regional Hospital.
When her health began to decline it was very hard for her to leave behind the friendships she had made and say goodbye to her patients. One of her comforts was gardening. She was so proud of her yard and her roses. She would garden all night long, just to make sure everything was perfect.
In 2012 Neal and Charlene built a home in Tremonton to be close to their family. Charlene loved that house and the memories made there. The girls would stop by all the time just to see how Grandma was, to shop in her closet, or get a grape soda.
Charlene is survived by her adoring husband, Neal, one daughter Monica (LaRon) Stokes and two of the most precious granddaughters, Abbie and Ronie. They were the reason she battled her disease for so long. She wanted as much time as possible with her girls.
Charlene is also survived by her parents, four sisters and two brothers.
