Clynn Richman

October 22, 1935 — February 28, 2015

Promontory- Clynn Wells Richman 79, passed away at his home in Promontory on February 28, 2015. Clynn was born on October 22, 1935 in Logan, Utah to Lyle Miles & Irell Wells Richman. He married his sweetheart Winifred H. (Winnie) Richman in Brigham City, Utah on February 2, 1968.

He attended and graduated from Bear River High School. He also attended college at Utah State University. During his life Clynn lived in Paradise, UT; London, England; Swansea, Wales and Promontory, UT.  He worked at Thiokol in the Chemical Corporation. He retired from there in 1995.  He was also a Rancher/Farmer all of his life.

Clynn earned many Agricultural and FFA awards while attending Bear River High School. Throughout his whole life he loved to play baseball and work with Quarter Horses. He considered one of his greatest achievements to be his family.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held various callings, he loved serving as the Promontory Branch President and also as the first & second Counselors in the Branch Presidency.  He served a two year LDS mission to England & Wales. He was also a member of the American Quarter Horse Association.

Clynn is survived by his wife, Winnie Richman; four children: Heather Marian, Aaron Clynn, Lyle Higginson & Courtney Wells (deceased); eight grandchildren: Colton & Caden Lott, Brittney, Marriah, Zacharie & Skyler Richman, Reagen & Brantzen Richman and one great grandson Jayden Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son.

Funeral services for Clynn will be held on Thursday March 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thatcher-Penrose LDS Chapel (11475 W. 10400 N., Thatcher, UT). There will be a viewing held on Wednesday March 4, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E. Tremonton, UT) and prior to the funeral from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
