Curtis “Dan” Jensen passed away on January 10, 2014 with his sweetheart and family by his side after a valiant fight with Alzheimer’s.
He was born on June 4, 1935 to W.B. Jensen & Addie Parker Jensen in Brigham City, Utah. He married Joyce Bernsen and to that union was born four children, Cathy (deceased), Curtis (deceased), Chris, and Candace. They were later divorced.
He married Patricia Jeppesen on November 26, 1993. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on March 25, 2000.
He worked as a butcher at Smith’s Food King, a carpenter at ATK Thiokol, and a custodian at Bear River High School. He is survived by his wife, Pat; step-children, Cindy (Chris) Fonnesbeck, Riverside, UT; Tiffany Bott, Tremonton, UT; Randy (Julee) Davis, Thatcher; Debby (Kim Munk) Carbine, Garland, UT; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and step children; Lisa Davis Jensen and Rodney Fredric Davis.
Services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 N 100 E, Tremonton, UT at 11:00 am. Viewings will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 5:30-7:30 pm and prior to the services from 9:30-10:30 am. Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery.
