It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darlene Maguire, who peacefully left us on March 19, 2024, in Tremonton, Utah. Born on November 12, 1972, in Newport, Rhode Island to her loving parents Pauline and Darrell Maguire.
Darlene's life journey took her across various parts of the United States during her father's military service before returning to settle in Tremonton. She graduated from Bear River High School in 1990 and briefly pursued higher education at Utah State University.
A passionate reader with a remarkable memory for movie scenes, Darlene had a deep appreciation for good food and was known for her culinary skills. Her infectious sense of humor could brighten anyone's day, but her greatest joy in life was her daughter, Sophie.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved daughter Sophie Jade Maguire; sister Beverly Fay Richins and husband Chad; brother James Maguire; cousin Jennifer Abbott Olson; along with other relatives and friends. Darlene was reunited with her parents Pauline and Darrell Maguire, brother John Paul Maguire, and grandparents Colleen and John Laws, as well as Gwendolyn and Edward Maguire.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Darlene will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the Cultural Hall of the Tremonton West Stake Center (345 South 1000 West- Tremonton, UT 84337) at 11:00 A.M. Your support through monetary donations in lieu of flowers would be appreciated to assist with final expenses. Venmo contributions can be sent to @Jennifer-Olson-104.
Darlene will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her laughter, love for life, and devotion to those she held dear.
