Darrell Andersen

Darrell M Andersen, 78, passed away on February 28, 2018 at Sunshine Terrace in Logan, Utah. He was born on March 8, 1939 in Tremonton, Utah to Irene & Hans Andersen. Darrell was raised in Tremonton and spent his summers in Blue Creek. He graduated from Bear River High School.

He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission to Colorado, where he met his beautiful wife to be Ellen. After his mission, Darrell married his sweetheart, Ellen Andersen on June 21, 1963.

They lived in Lewiston, Logan, and after he retired from Ipaco in Logan, they made their home in Howell.

Darrell enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife: Ellen Andersen; children: Darin Todd (Betty) Andersen, Jill Andersen, Lori Andersen; grandchildren: Nicole Hodges, Jacklyn Andersen; great grandchildren: Alexis, Hailey, Kylie Bair, Casey, Mason Hodges; siblings: Eva, Leon, Dean, Marilyn, and Elaine.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents Irene & Hans Andersen; and sister, Betty.

Funeral services for Darrell will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 5, 2018, at the Howell Ward LDS Chapel (16035 N 17400 W, Howell, UT). A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment in the Howell Cemetery.
