David Dunn

Garland-David R. Dunn, 40 returned home to his Heavenly Father on June 30, 2009. He was on his way home from work when he was killed instantly in a tragic accident. David was born April 30, 1969 in Seattle Washington. He was adopted to wonderful parents Richard Marvel and Chraleen Tilley Dunn of Brigham City, Utah. He was also blessed to get the chance to reunite and have his birth mother Barbara Harrold, in his life. He graduated from Box Elder High School and attended Bridgerland where he received a degree in Diesel Mechanics. He married the love of his life Janice Francom Dunn August 18, 1989. He was sealed to his family for time and all eternity in the Ogden Temple. His biggest accomplishment was his beautiful children whom he thought the world of and loved more than life itself, Lacey, Stetson, Dakota, and Shiann. His greatest joy was his family. He loved fishing, camping, golfing, NASCAR, construction, motorcycle rides with his dear friends but most of all teasing and being with his family. David or Dave was a wonderful father and supportive husband, not only to his children, but to many others whom he loved dearly. He was a friend to so many. He would do anything for anyone anytime, anywhere. We will miss his teasing, sarcasm, and big bear hugs every day. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Thank you my love for the impact you have made on so many. We love you and will miss you Big D. He was preceded in death by his father Richard M. Dunn. He is survived by his wife Janice Francom Dunn, children Lacey 19, Stetson 16, Dakota 13, Shiann 10. Mother Charleen Tilley Dunn, Birth Mother Barbara Harrold, Brother Tyler R. Dunn, Sisters Marvee (Delwin) Lee, Lisa Dunn, and many others who loved him dearly. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 7, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Garland LDS Church 175 S. Main Garland, Utah. A Viewing will be held Monday July 6, 2009 from 6-8 pm and Tuesday July 7, 2009 from 9-10:30 am at the Garland LDS Church. Internment will be in Brigham City Cemetery.
