Dayle (Garn) Stimpson

April 8, 1939 — March 17, 2025

Dayle Garn Stimpson was born April 8th, 1939, in Fielding, Utah to Wesley and Florence Emily Doman Garn. She passed away on March 17, 2025. She was the youngest of six children.

Dayle married Ronald Junius Stimpson on August 5, 1954. They were married in Logan in the Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They had six children.

Moms main focus in life was her children. She spent many hours reading to us when we were young. She said it calmed us down and helped her keep her sanity with six children all age seven and under. We all have a great love of reading because of this.

Mom was extremely talented and great at anything she wanted to do. Many people were recipients of her beautiful doilies. When she embroidered, the back looked just as beautiful as the front.

Mom has many treasured memories of hunting and camping with the family. And of course life was not complete unless she was surrounded with her many cats and dogs.

Mom worked throughout her life and loved each of the jobs she had. She worked at Christensen Feed and Seed, Vulcraft, T & M Manufacturing, Fielding City and Corinne City.

Mom had a love of learning. She went back to school at night and worked full time in the day. She earned her Associates Degree in Accounting and was also the Valedictorian of her class.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ron, her brother Jack Garn, and sisters Rae Peterson, Beth Burnett, Carol Hess.

She is survived by her six children and their spouses, Woody (Janet) Stimpson, Curtis (Denise) Stimpson, Gary (Kellie) Stimpson, Melanie (Mike) Roundy, twins- Sherri (Paul) Archibald, Sheron (Micheal) Bardwell. Also, by her sister Jean Nye and Sisters-in-law Carolyn Stimpson and Marjorie Stimpson.

She had a vast posterity with 25 Grandchildren, 60 Great Grandchildren and 16 Great, Great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Noon at the Fielding Cemetery.

Special thanks to Misti, Joclyn, Kristin and Jasen from CNS hospice and Dr. Schow and his staff. These people are true angels.

Mom will be wearing blue jeans and won’t mind if others do too.

Our Mom loved to dance and we know that she is in Heaven dancing now.
