Dee Firth

Dee M. Firth, a loving husband, step-father, uncle and friend passed away October 31, 2011. He was born on July 15, 1925 to Earl Matthew and Bertha Ray Firth of Bothwell, Utah. He graduated from Bear River High School. Dee was a WWII Vet who served his country for two years. Dee was an excellent mechanic who could fix anything. He owned and ran the family farm in Bothwell, Utah. He also enjoyed hunting in Lynn, Utah with his family. He was survived by his wife, JoAnn: stepdaughters; Debra (Watson) Russell, Victoria Hoggan, Janice (Dick) Powell; brother LeRoy Firth: sister-in-law Lucille Firth, many grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many cousins, nephews and nieces. Dee was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ray; sisters; Renae (Dee) Horton, Marge (Maurice) Staples, Vera (Darald) Fuller. A special thanks to the Bear River Valley Care Center and Jan-Erik Schow for their tender loving care. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 5, 2011 at 11:30 am. A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 before the service. All services will be held at Rudd Funeral Home located at 1234 South Main in Garland. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery in Tremonton.
