Dennis Hyde died at his home in Maricopa, Arizona, July 7, 2010, following a six month battle with cancer. Dennis was born in Tremonton, Utah July 9th 1941, a son of Max LeRoy Hyde and Verna Oyler. Dennis attended Bear River High School and Graduated From Utah State University with a degree in Aeronautical Technology. He married Linda Buttars from Clarkston, Utah on February 25, 1966. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple February 21, 1968. Dennis was active in the LDS church serving twice as a Bishops counselor and as Elders quorum president. He was a dedicated home teacher and loved serving his families. Dennis served as a missionary in the South German Mission. Following his mission he was drafted into the army and served in Vietnam as a door gunner on Huey Helicopters. Dennis worked for Honeywell (formally Allied Signal) for over 30 years as a senior project engineer. Dennis is survived by his wife Linda, daughters Kristina and Sherry Lyn and sons Michael, William and Daniel, his mother Verna, brother Oleen and sisters Loraine Haggerty and Luana Hyde. Grandchildren, Mitchell, Amanda, Nicholas, Brooke, Maxwell, Samantha, Lily, Athena, Zenayda, Tristan, Charlee and Asher A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at the Fielding Stake center, located at 4400 West 15600 North, Fielding Utah, on Tuesday, July 13th. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by the service.
