Don Forsgren

Don Budd Forsgren, age 88, passed away on February 21, 2018. He was born on September 18, 1929, to Cathleen Quinney Marea Steel and Vivian Vincent Forsgren, in Bothwell, Utah.

He married his sweetheart Deann Howell Forsgren on December 15, 1954 in Portage, Utah.

Don worked as a farmer, dairy man, welder, and at Thiokol. Retiring from Thiokol.

Don served in the US Army. He was rank PFC (T) inf. Co. D, 160th inf. regt. He was awarded with a Korea service medal, bronze sv star, combat inf. Badge, and a United Nations medal.

He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Don was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He is survived by: Deann Howell Forsgren (Wife); Annette (Daughter) and Brent Thomas, Pocatello, ID; Sharon (Daughter) and Rick Hardwood, Grace ID; Todd Forsgren (Son), Willard, UT; Judy Fowler (Daughter), Hyrum, UT; Leland Forsgren (Son), Willard, UT, Judd (Brother) and Nova Forsgren, West Haven, UT.

He was preceded in death by his son, Roger J. Forsgren, his parents, and 12 siblings.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Willard Peak LDS chapel (7615 S 665 W Willard, Utah 84340) at 11 AM, with a viewing before the service from 9:30-10:30. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 6-7:30 PM at the Willard Peak LDS Chapel.
