Donna Scoffield

Donna passed away on March 16, 2011 at the age of 69 from lung cancer. She was born June 20, 1941 to C. Vernal and Saddie Fern Jones Montgomery in Brigham City, Utah. She was raised in Park Valley, Utah. She attended Park Valley’s two room school and graduated from Bear River High School. She married Gayle Reese Stark in 1959. They had three children and later divorced. She met her love, Gary Roland Scoffield, in 1967. They were married October 14, 1968 and were sealed on September 28, 1995 in the Logan Temple. They had one child. They served in the Florida, Deseret Land and Livestock Mission. Donna enjoyed serving at the Temple. Donna enjoyed ladies softball, golf, dancing, and camping with the family. Nothing made her happier than a sunny day and heading south for the winter. She also loved music and could often be heard humming her own tune. She cherished her family and left a long legacy. She is survived by her husband, Gary; her children, Peggy(Craig) Richards, Casey(Holli) Stark, Rusty(Candace) Scoffield, Darrin(Jennifer) Scoffield, Marcy(Brent) Rupp, Chad(Sarah) Scoffield; 20 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren; and three Sisters and a Brother. She was preceded in death by an infant Daughter, Marty Ann, her Parents, a Sister, and a Grandson. The family is grateful for all the love and support from family, friends, and caregivers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riverview Ward Chapel, 10750 North HWY 69, Deweyville, Utah. Viewings will be held Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Rudd Funeral Home, 1234 South Main, Garland, Utah and Saturday morning from 9 to 10:30 at the Riverview Ward Chapel. Interment, Riverview Cemetery.
