Doris Deen Rudd

Doris Rudd, age 91, of Plymouth, Utah, passed away October 19, 2023. Doris was born in Plymouth, Utah to Rulon and Lavell Rudd on June 26, 1932. She attended cosmetology school. Doris always made sure her mother had her beehive hairstyle done each week.

Doris worked at the Turkey plant in Ogden. She also worked at the Fielding Elementary school as a cook.

Doris loved painting birdhouses and loved sharing her masterpieces with her friends and family.

The last several years of her life she and her cat Callie lived with her daughter Sandra in Logan where her and her great granddaughter Taylee became the best of friends. Taylee always made sure grandma Doris had everything she needed.

Doris was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents Rulon and Lavell Rudd, son Jeffery Rudd, brother Gordon Rudd.

Doris is survived by her two children; Sandra Hansen and Byron (Tammy) Arellano; her two siblings Raeola Deakin and Derrell (Janice) Rudd; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mom did not want a funeral and we will obey her wishes. There will be a graveside service for her family and friends at the Plymouth Cemetery on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 1 P.M. A FAMILY ONLY viewing will be held prior from 11:30 A.M.-12:30 P.M. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N 100 E, Tremonton).
