Dylan Shaw

On July 12, 2011 Dylan D Shaw returned to a loving Heavenly Father after a brave 4 month battle with a brain stem tumor (DIPG). Dylan was born Oct 17, 2001 to Ryan D Shaw and Mandy Jeppesen Shaw in Brigham City, Utah. He later moved to West Haven where he was a member of the Wilson 4th ward and loved being in primary and scouts there. He loved the outdoors and fishing with his grandpas and especially spending time in Bear Lake with family. Dylan was a very loving boy and touched the lives of many people. He had a great sense of humor and loved telling jokes and making people laugh. He loved playing football, basketball, playing with his friends and was a huge BYU and Denver Broncos fan but he especially loved being with his mom, he didn't want to be away form her for even a minute. He is survived by his parents, his siblings (Dawson, Avery, Alivia, Dax and Drew), his grandparents Tom and LaNae Shaw and Bill and Mitzi Jeppesen, great grandparents Adrian and Janace Nelson and Fay Thomas and many aunts, uncles and 40 cousins. A special thanks goes to the physicians at Primary Children's, LDS hospital, Brigham Pediatrics, Make a Wish Foundation and Give Kids the World. A viewing will be held on Friday the 15th from 6-9pm at the Ogden West Stake Center (2200 S. 4300 W. West Haven) with the funeral on Saturday 16th at noon with a viewing from 10-11:30am (same location). Condolences can be sent to www.ruddfuneralhome.com.
