Dylan Shelton

Dylan James (Wardle) Shelton of Tremonton, Utah, passed away on June 29, 2011 at the age of 18. Dylan was born on August 24, 1992 in Brigham City, Utah, the son of Amy Maryott, Jeromy Wardle, and Travis Shelton. Dylan was a happy, active child and grew to be a young man always trying to be the best that he could be. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He brought smiles and laughter to everyone he was around. Dylan loved the outdoors and adventures. Dylan was an amazing athlete and excelled at everything he did. Baseball and soccer were his passions. He enjoyed many hobbies; his favorites included wake boarding, snowboarding, and skate boarding. He will always be a boarder at heart. Dylan is survived by his parents, his sister Brooklynn, his brother Jaken, his grandparents David and Maryann Maryott, Margie Maryott, Rod and Toni Wardle, and Jim and Sandy Shelton. He will be greatly missed by his uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Uncle Mike Maryott and his Grandmother Nedra Arbon. Dylan, your family will always love you and be proud of you. We know that you have found the peace and acceptance that you so often sought in this life in the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, July 5 from 6-8pm at Rudd Funeral Home, 1234 S Main Garland. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 6 at Tremonton West Stake Center 345 S 1000 W at 1:00pm with a viewing before from 11-12:30. Interment at Bothwell Valley View Cemetery.
