Earl David Memmott, 46, passed away at his home Aug. 16, 2012 in Elwood, UT. He was born Feb. 27, 1966 to June David & Ardella Kay Memmott in Boise, ID. He married Karen Thompson July 4, 2007 in Pleasantview, UT. Earl Attended Bear River High school. He was married to Marci Thompson, together they had a child, Brandi, they later divorced. He was then married to Elizabeth Bickmore, they later divorced. Earl was a gifted tradesman, running a successful concrete business for several years in Cache Valley. Most recently he worked for Larry H. Miller in Riverdale. Selling cars was a true passion of his. He received a distinguished salesman award. If you were his friend you were one for life. Earl adored his grandchildren and they each held a special place in his heart, he loved BBQ-ing on Sundays with all the kids around and loved spending time with family. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He also served our country with the Utah National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Karen; Daughter Brandi Chere (Matt) Shaffer; Son, Steven Andersen, Sgt. 1st class(Currently serving in Afghanistan); Step-sons, Casey Wilkerson, Cody (Evelyn) Wilkerson; Grandkids, Kayla-Jo, Chloee Chere, Brooklyn, Champ, & Kaylee; His Mother Ardella; Brother Keith (Sandra) Peck; Sisters, Gloria & Jan; and many nieces and nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his Father; a brother, Richard Lane Peck; and both his Maternal & Paternal Grandparents. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Aug 25, 2012 at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E. Tremonton). Viewings will be held at the mortuary Friday Aug 24, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday prior to services from 9:30-10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation in Earl’s name (www.melanoma.org).
