Edith Linda (Lamb) Marda

Edith Linda Lamb Marda passed away on February 5, 2024 at her home after a long and valiant fight against cancer.  Linda was born on April 26, 1949 in Malad, Idaho to Vernon Jesse Lamb and Edith Nadine Atkinson Lamb.  She married Willem “Will” Hendrik Marda on September 8, 1990 in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She was vibrant and full of life, a loving, kind, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, and an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

 Linda is survived by her husband, Will, of North Salt Lake City, Utah; her children, Robert, Lia (Tony), Karen (Jim), Jennifer (Barry), Jonathan (Bridgette), and Melissa; 5 nieces and 7 nephews; 25 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Verna Wakley, and Nonda Hunsaker, and one brother, Kenneth “Kenny” Lamb.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Elaine Hoesch, and one brother, Ronald Lamb.

 Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel located at 261 East Center Street, North Salt Lake City, Utah.   A viewing will be held prior from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church.  The burial will be at Plymouth Cemetery in Plymouth, Utah at approximately 3 P.M. The service will  be livestreamed and will be accessed below.
