Edna Johnson Morgan passed away surrounded by family on May 2, 2012 in Tremonton, Utah of causes incident to age. Edna was born September 11, 1921 in Mantua, Utah, the oldest child of Ernest Edgar and Marina Perkins Johnson. She grew up in Mantua and graduated from Box Elder High School. She married the love of her life, Melvin LeRoy (Roy) Morgan on June 15, 1940. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 9, 1964. They were married for 60 years when Roy passed away. They spent many happy years in Brigham City, Tremonton, Morgan, and Snowville. Edna was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she held many callings. Visiting Teacher, Family Extraction Program, Stake Missionary, Young Women President, and her favorite, Relief Society President. She was also once a member of the Snowville City Council. She loved to crochet, read, work in the yard, travel and spend time with her the family that she loved so much. She is survived by her children Eddie (Vi) Morgan, Clinton, Utah; Curtis (Gloria) Morgan, Snowville, Utah; Steven (Tamra ) Morgan, Garland, Utah; Michael (Robin) Morgan, Snowville, Utah; Susan (Bruce) Summers, Draper, Utah; 24 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 7, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Curlew Ward Chapel 75 N 100 E in Snowville. Viewings will be held on Sunday May 6, 2012 from 6-8:00 pm at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 N 100 E in Tremonton and preceding the funeral from 9:30 – 10:30 am at the Curlew Chapel. Interment will be at the Mantua City Cemetery.
