Enid Sherlene Lamelangi, 77, passed away on February 8, 2022 in Ogden, Utah. She was born on September 18, 1944 in Malad, Idaho to Linford Neaman and Margret Perdash.
Enid lived in Washakie, UT, Fort Hall, ID, and Springfield, OR. She attended school in Tremonton, Washakie, and Portage.
She married Aisake Lamelangi on November 14, 1984 in Provo, Utah.
Enid was a seamstress fritizie. She worked in Spanish Fork, UT and for the Blind & Deaf in Salt Lake City, UT. She was a potato and cherry picker and a backup singer for Shoshone Nation Drummers. She was a protester for Goshute Native Tribe.
Enid was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by Douglas Hansen, Bryon Hardin, Shawn Chee, Mele Lamelangi. Her husband Aisake Lamelangi, her grandkids, three great grandkids, and three sisters Linda Hernandez, Dessie Fonahema, and Kathren Neaman.
Enid is preceded in death by Colleen Edmo and her parents.
All Services will be held on Monday February 14, 2022 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home (111 North 100 East Tremonton, UT). A visitation will be held from 10:30 – 11:30 am with the funeral to follow at Noon. The service will be livestreamed and may be found at the link below. Interment at Washakie Cemetery.
