Ethel Lynn Pease Hampton Rudd, 86 passed away at home surrounded by family on August 29, 2014. She was born on August 15, 1928 in Vanguard, Saskatchewan, Canada. The tenth child of Alford Claude and Clara Ford Mitchel Pease. Married Joseph Hampton Aug. 28, 1947. Two children, Michael Joseph and Kollynn were born to this union. Joseph Hampton was killed in a truck accident in Jan. 1975. Michael Joseph died of brain cancer in 2002. Ethel married Evan Nish Rudd, Oct. 1975, and they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple as Eternal companions.
She is survived by her Husband Evan, her Older Sister Alicia (Roy) her Daughter, Kollynn H. Pantuso, (David), and Kollynn’s children, Angela Smith (Rustyn), Justin Pantuso, and Melissa Pantuso; Four great Great Grand Children, McKay, Joshua, Alyssa, and Christopher Smith. Evan’s children, Bradley (Betty), Julie Cordon, (Scott-Deceased), Paula (Peter), and Barry (Kathy) and their (11) Children and (8) Grandchildren.
Ethel was an ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple. She was active in the various wards she lived in and had many callings in the wards she lived in/though out her life. She had a strong testimony of the Truthfulness of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and tried to be a good example for her family and friends.
Funeral services for Ethel will be held on Wednesday September 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Homestead Ward Chapel (5605 South Vine St, Murray, UT). There will be a viewing held at the church prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Interment will take place in the Murray City Cemetery.
