Eula Erma Stanger Deakin 77, passed away on May 27, 2013, in Ogden, Utah. Eula was born on March 4, 1936 in College Ward, Utah to Erma Olsen Adams & Nile G. Stanger. Eula married John Deakin on April 2, 1952.
During her life she lived in Logan, Fielding, and Tremonton, Utah. While living in Tremonton, She attended Bear River High School.
Eula was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was the Tremonton 5th Ward Quilting Director, the Primary Secretary & a Fielding Young Women's Leader. Some of the hobbies that Eula loved were sewing, quilting, & crocheting. She was a secretary of the Bear River Valley Hospital Ladies Auxiliary
She is survived by her children: Jackie (Steven) Elsnab, South Ogden; Joyce Cox, Elwood & Dianne (Lance) Steward, Tremonton, Four brothers: Brent (Denice) Adams & Bruce (Susan) Adams, Wayne and Dean Stanger and two sisters: Ida (Max) Neiderhauser, and Terri (Junius) Gibbons.
She is preceded in death by Her Husband, John Deakin; daughter, Carol Ann Steed, Father, Nile G. Stanger & Mother, Erma Olsen Adams & Step Father Ray Adams.
Funeral services for Eula will be held on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in the Tremonton Fifth Ward Chapel (300 S. Tremont St.). Viewings will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. and from 10:30- 11:30 a.m. previous to the funeral. Both viewings will be held at the Tremonton Fifth Ward Chapel.
