Eva Laub

October 29, 1926 — March 17, 2013

Our sweet mom, grandma and great-grandma was reunited with her loving husband Max Laub on March 17, 2013 in St. George, Utah.

Eva Lou was born October 29, 1926 to Tressie Neal and Vern Steed. She grew up in Stone, Idaho but later moved to Tremonton, Utah and Graduated from Bear River High School. Eva Lou married Max W. Laub on March 24, 1946 in Tremonton and 3 years later they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan LDS Temple. She lived a great deal of her life in Tremonton before moving to Logan, Utah in 1981. Then in 1993 she and Max moved to St. George to enjoy the warmer climate. Eva Lou worked for Tremonton City and later for Beehive Clothing in Logan, UT as well as serving in many positions in the LDS church. She truly loved spending time with her family and friends.

Eva Lou is survived by: her two children Paul W.(Alfiya) Laub of Rancho Cordova, California and Sherie L.(Bryce) Barfuss of Tremonton, 10 grandchildren Megan Laub, Heather (Brendan) Skousen , Shannon Laub, Jenny (Jordan) Smith , Adelia Bogdanova, Jeff (Josilyn) Barfuss , Jaime (Daniel) Ravsten , Corey (Cherice) Barfuss , Christopher (Mandy) Barfuss , 22 great grandchildren, a sister Linda Kindblade and 2 brothers Carl (Mollie) Steed and Lyle (Kathleen) Steed . She was preceded in death by her husband Max W Laub, her parents, 3 sisters Nola (Mike) Thompson , Elaine (Eddie) Chadwick , Darlene (Andy) Funk and a brother Dee (DeLores) Steed , and one great-grandson Jaden Barfuss.

There will be a viewing held Friday March 22 from 1:00-2:30 PM at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home in Tremonton followed by graveside services for all family and friends at Riverview Cemetery in Tremonton at 3:00.
