Tremonton, UT – Farrel Garn Stevens, 76, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011 in Lava Hot Springs, ID. He was born February 15, 1935 in Trenton, UT to David Garn and Ethel Luella Allred Stevens. He attended Trenton Elementary and North Cache High School. He served in the Navy for four years. He married Barbara Butler June 28, 1958. They later divorced. He married Bonnie Jean Robbins December 23, 1990 in Tremonton, UT. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Jack B. Parson, WW Clyde, Franers, GP Construction and many others. He was a member of Local 3 Operating Engineers for many years working in Utah, Nevada, Idaho and Wyoming. He enjoyed restoring old John Deere tractors, four-wheeling, deer hunting, dancing and snow mobiling. He was the president of the Home Association in Indian Falls, ID. Farrel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his wife, his four children: Heidi (Bill) Owen, Randy Stevens, Stefanie Burke and Dustin (Margaret) Stevens; eight step children: Vickie Seamons (Jack-deceased), Mike (Tereasa) Robbins, Larry (Shauna) Robbins, Verl (Marie) Robbins, JuLee (Frank) Deakin, Carla Atkin, Mitzi (Quinn) Palmer, and Jeff (Jodi) Robbins; two brothers: Dale (Maria) Stevens and Murray (Penny) Stevens; one sister: Caroline (Travis) Littledike; nine grandchildren, 21 step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren with two on the way; 31 step-great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Dean Stevens, one grandson, Joshua Owen and a son-in-law, Jack Seamons. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 12:00 (noon) at Tremonton 5th Ward Chapel, 300 South Tremont Street, Tremonton. A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to the funeral. Interment will be at the Trenton Cemetery, 608 South along Highway 23, Trenton.
