Snowville, UT – Gary L. Booth, 55, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family after four months of battling cancer. He was born September 14, 1955 in Brigham City, UT to Collin M. and Norma Maureen Jensen Booth. Gary attended Raft River High School in Malta, ID. He married Patricia Perkes April 26, 1980 in Bridge, ID. Gary worked as a farm hand, at Thiokol, construction and was a semi truck driver. In his early years he loved racing and being with horses. About ten years ago he started his own cow herd and loved every minute of it. He enjoyed camping on family property in Yost, UT with his family and grandkids. Gary was a generous thoughtful person who loved and helped everyone. Gary loved his kids, grandkids, extended family and especially his wife. Gary was as member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was sealed to his family for time and all eternity May 26, 2004 in the Logan, UT Temple. Surviving are his wife, Patty, five children: Danny (Brandy) Booth, Mindy (Mike) Lyon, Kristi (Chris) Breiland, Bodie Booth and Stetson Booth; seven grandkids: Hayden and Jackson Booth, Harlee, Bre’Kell and Oaklie Lyon and Tayla and Ellie Breiland; mother and stepfather, Norma and Vernon Teeter; two brothers: Bob (Janet) Booth, Max (Jeanie) Booth; one sister, Debbie (Miles) Robinson; his mother and stepfather-in-law, Leon and Liz Payne and father-in-law, Dennis Perkes. Preceding him in death are his father, Collin Booth, his brother, Royce Booth, and brother-in-laws, Kelly Perkes and Dennis Carter. Funeral services will be held 12:00 (noon) Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Curlew LDS Chapel, 75 North 100 East, Snowville. A viewing will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rudd Funeral Home, 1234 South Main Street, Garland and 10:00-11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Snowville Cemetery.
