Gary Cutler

Gary Lamar Cutler, 80, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 in Tremonton. He was born March 19, 1934 to Lamar S. and Elizabeth Garbanati Cutler in Garland, Utah. He spent his youth in Snowville and Elwood and attended Bear River High School. He served in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1958. He married Glenda Rawlins on June 19, 1964. They were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on May 5, 1984. They raised their family in Tremonton.
Gary was a brilliant mechanic, spending most of his spare time under the hood of someone else's vehicle. He held many jobs throughout his life, but his passion was always the Ford Motor Company. He worked at Archibald & Davis Motor Ford in Tremonton, Utah, Thiokol in Promontory, Utah and at Autoliv in Brigham City, Utah. He rarely went a day without a Pepsi and a Hershey Candy Bar, his other passions in life. Gary was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Tremonton 2nd Ward, where he served the Scouting Organization, The High Priest Group, Ward and Stake Activities and as Ward Dance Director.
Gary's wife, Glenda, passed away on May 17th, 2014. He missed her immensely the entire 7 months they were apart. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Elizabeth Cutler, parents-in-law, Wells and Elizabeth Rawlins, sisters Charmaine Hayward and Theo Morgan, brothers Lyone and Marlon Cutler, and in-laws Ted Hayward, Roy Morgan, John Badovinac and Sandra Cutler.
He is survived by his 4 children; Michael(Krista) Cutler, Debra(Ernie)Mankin, Tami(Dee) Jeppson, and Corey Cutler, 8 grandchildren, 1 brother; Vernon Cutler, 3 sisters; Gael(Neil) Rhodes, NaDeen(Ed) Smith and Luana Badovinac and countless relatives who will miss Gary's gentle nature and quiet demeanor.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tremonton South Stake Center (1150 South Tremont St.), viewings will be held Monday, December 15, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E.- Tremonton) as well as Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral at the church. Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery.
