George Dalton

George Marlyn Dalton, 87, passed away February 12, 2014 in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born on Feb 21, 1926 in Grace, ID to Hazel Pauline Korth and George Mathew Dalton.

George graduated from Grace High School and earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Utah State Agricultural College. He has lived in Seattle, Portland, and most recently in Salt Lake City and retired from United Air Lines. He loved to golf and go fishing. He was a member of the LDS Church. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, and they dearly loved their “Uncle George”

George is survived by a brother, Dallas (Marilyn) Dalton, two sisters, Roma (Boyd) Whitehead, Dorothy Birkinshaw; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Hazel Dalton and one brother J. Fred Dalton.

Funeral Services for George will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 11:00 at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home (4760 S State St. – Murray) with a viewing prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Grace, ID.
