Few people have loved life more than George Perry. He lived life to its fullest. No matter the situation, George always had a smile on his face. He looked at everybody as a friend and every situation as an opportunity. Whenever George was around, he had a way of making life seem better, and, no matter what your problems might be, talking with George made your problems feel lighter. George, or GH as he was known ‘back then’, was raised on the family farm and farmed through the early part of his life. No matter where life took him, he was always a farmer at heart. He received engineering degree from Utah State University, and then worked at Thiokol for 15 years. He began selling organic wheat and flour at the very start of the organic movement. This eventually led him to start Wheatland Seed. George had a great love for health foods and natural remedies and loved to share his knowledge with others. George had a great love for genealogy and he could meet a perfect stranger and within a few minutes figure out how they were related. George had a great love for the Savior and looked forward to the day that he would meet him. But in the end what dad loved the most was his family. His warm smile and beautiful laugh will be missed greatly.
