Biography
Bear River City - 94, Georgia Delilah Scoffield passed away on May 27, 2013 in Logan Utah. She was born October 22, 1918 in Millville Utah to George Ephraim and Delilah Marie Humphreys Larson. Georgia married Lyle Hoffman in 1944, he died in the service. They had one son. She later married Roland Flient Scoffield in Reno, Nevada on January 11, 1947.
Georgia grew up in Millville and worked hard on the farm. She loved camping with friends and enjoyed winters in Overton Nevada. Georgia excelled in crocheting and knitting. She enjoyed gardening and out fishing with dad. As a family they enjoyed Sunday dinners with her wonderful pies and rolls.
She was a member of the Bear River City LDS Third Ward.
Georgia is survived by her children; Gary Scoffield, Tremonton, Lyle Scoffield, Brigham, Georgia Lee Steffenhagen (Scott), Logan, Rex Scoffield, Brigham, and Jon Scoffield (Wendy), Tremonton. Lloyd Larsen, CA, Glen Larson, Kaysville. Coy Raskelley Smithfield, Lois Merrill, Roy & Nancy Price, CA.
She is preceded in death by her Husband Roland, Daughter Brenda, Daughter-in-law Donna, Brother Joe Larson, & sisters Montis Jensen & Venice Pitcher.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2013 at the Bear River L.D.S. Church 5870 North 4700 West, Bear River City, Utah.
Visitations will be Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Utah, and again prior to the funeral from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Bear River City L.D.S. Church. Interment will be in the Bear River City Cemetery.
