Gerald Emerson Earl II
Our most beloved husband, son, father and friend left his earthly home on January 14, 2016. He was born to Gerald Emerson Earl I & Bernadine Davie Earl on November 2, 1946. He was born and raised in Fielding, UT. He graduated from Bear River High School. He loved sports and music. He played piano in the Lancer’s band and the French horn in the school band. He was in the Band of America where he toured Europe. He was gifted with a beautiful singing voice.
He received his bachelor’s degree from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. He joined the Army and served 30 years. Most of that time was in Germany having been promoted to a Sergeant major.
He was without a doubt the most patriotic person in the country. A tear always trickled down his cheek when the star spangled banner played. He enjoyed a good golf game. He was perpetually optimistic about the Jazz and never missed a game. He had a love of animals particularly dogs and cats. His own and everyone else’s.
He is survived by his parents Gerald Emerson Earl I & Bernadine Davie Earl; wife Linda; brothers Danny Paul (Jeanne) & Clinton Davie; children Gerald Emerson Earl III, Kristina Jane (McClane) Jugler, Darin Fronk Clark, Jason Hugh (Peaches) Clark, Camille Marie Clark, James Ryan Clark, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by one grandchild.
