Gwendolyn Dagmar Wheatley Burnett

Gwendolyn Dagmar Wheatley Burnett, age 94, passed away November 19th, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Gwendolyn was born in Honeyville, Utah on August 15th,  1921 to George Harold and Dagmar Wheatley. She married David (Floyd) Burnett on March 21st 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple,  She was a faithful member of the LDS church at the time of her death. She participated in many church callings including being involved in Primary for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and reading. She worked at the Ogden Arsenal, and for the Federal Bureau of Investigations in Washington D.C. Gwendolyn and Floyd had 5 children Tanya, Daneal, David Jr., Susan, and Christine. They settled in Garland Utah where they met many lifelong friends.

Gwendolyn is survived by daughters Daneal Burnett, Susan Burnett, Christine (Roger) Ruff, Son-in-law Wayne Webb, three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Janet Marsh, George (Bud) Wheatley, Theron J. Wheatley & Mary Elaine Bawden, son David Floyd Burnett Jr., and daughter Tanya Webb.

A viewing will be held in her honor 6-8 p.m., Friday November 27th, 2015 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 No. 100 East in Tremonton Utah. Funeral Services will be held at11:00 a.m. Saturday, November, 28th, 2015, at the Garland 5th Ward chapel, 175 So. Main St. in Garland, Utah, with a viewing at the church prior to the service from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Burial services will follow at the Honeyville Cemetery in Honeyville, Utah.
