Honeyville- Helen Hunsaker Holman 88 returned to the love of her life on December 10, 2013 in Honeyville UT. She was born on June 8, 1925 to Wallace & Amy Hunsaker in Delta, UT. On November 25, 1947 in Ogden, UT she married Courtly Fenton Holman. Their marriage was later solemnized in 1952 in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. He passed away on August 16, 2009.
She grew up in Honeyville and attended Honeyville Elementary school. She later went on to attend and graduate from Box Elder High School. While living in Honeyville she worked at Crystal Hot Springs. After she got married she moved to Downey, California where she and her husband lived for 30 years. They moved back to Honeyville for retirement. She spent most of her life working as a homemaker.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many different callings.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She loved having everyone at her house especially on holidays. It was always a fun time had by all when her & her sisters were together. She was the best grandma you could have. We will have a large hole in our hearts.
Helen is survived by one son, Darell P Holman; three grandchildren Courtley, Stacie and Shane; eight great grandchildren, Jenny, Jodi, Courtnie, Megan, Kirsten, Kimmie, Tanner and Tyler; two great great grandchildren, Asher and Jaxx and one sister Carolyn Smith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers Dean, Kenneth and Lynn and two sisters Marjorie & Lois.
Funeral services for Helen will be held on Saturday December 14, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E.). There will be a viewing held at the funeral home previous to the funeral from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Honeyville Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to CNS Home Health & Hospice.
