Helen Willardson

Helen Lorraine Jensen Willardson, 90, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2015 at the home of her daughter Sheila Riley, surrounded by family. She was born on July 7, 1925 in Salina, UT and was the first of three children to Rulon & Mabel Jensen. She married Arnold Willardson on December 10, 1947 and they were later sealed in the Manti Temple.

She lived in Redmond, UT most of her life, where she raised her two children, Sheila Riley & Bob Willardson. During her life she worked in the banking field, which included quite a number of years at the First State Bank of Salina. She also served in many church positions in her LDS ward.

Helen loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and kept many of those memories dear to her heart. She was a great daughter, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend and she will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold; siblings, Dale Jensen and Melba Wilden; as well as granddaughters Lisa Willardson and Amber Willardson.

The family would like to thank the staff at Rocky Mountain Hospice for all their care and concern during the last few months of Helen’s life, especially Nateé Brooke and Sheila.

Her funeral will be held in Redmond, UT at the chapel on 310 W 100 N on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm. A viewing will be held prior to the service at the same location from 11:30 to 12:30. She will be buried in the Redmond Cemetery.
