Hubert John Fransen, age 79, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at his home in Honeyville. He was born on January 13, 1945, in Norwich, England, to the loving parents Clair Willard Fransen and Olive Blanche Fransen.
Bert started his journey with his three children. He then married the love of his life Julie Spencer Fransen on February 22, 1991 in Honeyville, Utah. They lovingly embraced a blended family, as Julie brought in her three children into their lives. Together they completed their life with two more children.
Throughout his life journey that took him from Ashton, Idaho to Brigham City and settled in Honeyville, Utah, Hubert left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege to know him. He proudly graduated from Fremont High School in Ashton Idaho and went on to have a successful career path. Hubert dedicated 20 plus years of hard work at Better Way Insulation. He worked behind the wheel as a truck driver for Kim Hawker, and later at Autoliv in Brigham and Tremonton for 20 plus years until his well-deserved retirement in October 2023.
One of Hubert's proudest moments was setting a world record at the Bonneville Salt Flats for his father-in-law Richard Spencer's class of car. He was a man of many passions; from working on cars to riding his motorcycle through the open roads, hunting trips filled with laughter and camping adventures with loved ones. Hubert found solace by the waters while fishing and treasured watching over his children as they grew. A dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan brought joy and excitement into his home whenever they played.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Hubert's legacy includes his devoted wife of 33 years; his children Amanda (Donald) Barker, Sandra Fransen, John Fransen; her children Cecelia Keller, Shannon Carpenter, James Carpenter; their children together Mary Jo Reott (Benjamin), Jordan Fransen - each carrying a piece of his kind spirit forward.
Hubert is now reunited with those who passed before him; his parents Clair & Olive; sister Pat Heskett (Ralph); brother David Moore; father-in-law Richard Spencer; mother-in-law Fannette Spencer; sister-in-law Joette Kelley; and grandson Charles Bert Fransen.
