Tremonton- Ida May Fridal, 93, passed away on December 18, 2014 at the Bear River Valley Care Center.

She was born on May 25, 1921 in Fairview, Idaho to Louis & Louise Smith. She married Grant Devere Fridal on March 7, 1947 in Tremonton, Utah. They were later sealed on March 25, 1970 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Throughout her life she grew up in Idaho and later lived in Smithfield, Utah and Tremonton, Utah.

She worked at the DDO in Ogden during the World War II. She served in the Tremonton Hospital for many years as a pink lady, where she earned Volunteer of the year in 2008. She volunteered almost 10,000 hours.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many callings in the Primary and Relief Society organizations. She especially loved working with the children in Primary.

Ida is survived by her children: Roger (Terri) Fridal & Rhonda (Clayton) Thompson; brothers & sisters: Clyde (Ivy) Smith, Marge (Bob) Anderson, Ron (Arianne) Smith; sister-in-law: Fae Francis; 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Grant Devere Fridal.

Funeral services for Ida will be held on Tuesday December 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home Chapel (111 N. 100 E. Tremonton). Viewings will be held on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E. Tremonton) and prior to the funeral from 9:30- 10:30 a.m.
