Jay J. Hess February 11, 1979 – November 18, 2010 Jay J. Hess returned home to his loving father in heaven Thursday, November 18, 2010. He was born in Tremonton, UT the son of Janet Hess Williams and Ron Fridal. He married Tamara Marie Smith December 15, 2003 in Preston, ID. He later married Whitnee Palmer. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was so full of life. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and four-wheeling in the mountains. He loved listening to music and singing along with the radio. He loved to tease everyone and give us all a bad time. Surviving are his children: Dallas Gene Hess and Milee Jade Hess; stepchildren: Trace Anderson, Colby, Elsha and D.J. Bringhurst; mother, Janet Hess Williams; father, Ron Fridal; fiancé, Whitnee Palmer; sister, Jessica Hess; brothers: Colby Lee (Emilee) Hess, Justin Jeff (Alicia) Hess; sisters: Adalynn Head and Tanya Keppler; Grandpa Hess, Grandma and Grandpa Fridal; eight nieces, seven nephew and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Beverly Peterson Hess, wife, Tamara Marie Hess, and cousin, Jeremy Neil Withers. We would like to thank the EMTs, Malad Hospital and the wonderful staff at McKay-Dee Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2010 at the Belmont LDS Church, 16925 North 5200 West, Riverside. Family and friends may call Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rudd Funeral Home, 1234 South Main, Garland and Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. The family requests that donations be made in Jay's name at Members First Credit Union on Jessica Hess' account.
