Jeffrey Dee Leak, 53, passed away December 1, 2014 in Ogden, UT from liver and kidney failure. He was born May 8, 1961 in Tremonton, UT to Dee and Glenna Leak of Thatcher, UT. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has lived in Thatcher and Tremonton, UT his entire life. He graduated from Bear River High School and Seminary.
Jeff played basketball and baseball at Bear River High School where he enjoyed the lifelong friends that he made there.
He worked at Thiokol in Promontory, UT and at RR Donnelly in Logan, UT for a total of 30 years.
Jeff’s greatest joy was being a tease. He was funny and witty and loved making jokes and making others laugh. He was generous to a fault. He loved Christmas and unlike many men, he loved doing his own shopping for special gifts and had his shopping done early. He was probably the first to have his Christmas cards mailed.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing, but had to quit because of a bad hip. He truly missed doing these things.
Jeff is survived by his parents, Dee and Glenna Leak of Thatcher, UT; Children, Beau Jeff Leak (Jessica) and Bethanie Reinhardt (Tyler); four grandchildren and one step-grandchild; Sisters, Debborah Bair (Kevin) of North Ogden, Lori Waldron (Bruce) of St George and Marci Holden (Kirk) of Beaver Dam, UT; and many Nieces and nephews.
