On April 13, 2022 Jessica Lynn Goyen decided that whatever burdens she carried were too heavy for one person to bear. She handed them over to a higher power. Jessica died as she would have liked to have lived, on her own terms, she regained her independence.
Jessica was born September 9, 1993 in Sandy, Utah. She enjoyed the outdoors, riding mules, camping with her family and spending time with friends. She loved being able to accomplish things herself and disliked being told what to do.
She is survived by the love of her life, her daughter Jemma; her Parents, Nathan Goyen, Karey (Gary) Sorenson; Brother, Jacob Goyen; Grandparents Ken (Debbie) Goyen, Linda Atwood (Ray Price), Linda (Keith) Savage, Paul (Jacque) Pelch; Great-Grandpa Lyle Atwood, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her very much.
She is preceded in death by her Great Grandparents Paul and Dorothy Pelch, Laviegh Atwood, Maxine Piñion and Lawrence and Shirley Goyen.
“Have fun fishing with Grandpa Pelch show him what you’ve learned shorty”. We love you miles & miles & piles & piles!
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Jessica to New Hope Crisis Center for Women & Children, Brigham City, UT.
