Jetta Archibald Whiting Plymouth- Jetta Archibald Whiting, 90, passed away on Saturday, September 5th 2009. Jetta was born on October 31, 1918 to Andrew Halliday Archibald and Charlotte Agnes Nish in Plymouth Utah. She married Ray Lester Whiting on May 4th 1939. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on June 8th 1979. Jetta lived in Plymouth all her life. She attended school in Plymouth and she attended Bear River High School. She worked in the school lunch program for over 30 years. She loved to cook and her hot rolls were the best at any family gathering. Sunday dinner was always ready for anyone. She enjoyed gardening, especially her beautiful flowers. She also loved shopping and being with her family. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, She served as Jr. Sunday School Coordinator for many, many years and all the children loved her and enjoyed being with her. Jetta never turned down any calling. She always donated to the missionary fund because they were so special to her. She is survived by her three children, RaEtta (Thayne, deceased) Jones, Arizona & Logan; Judy (Jay) Sandall, Tremonton; Dan (Lynda) Whiting, Broomfield, Co.; 12 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray, Her mother and father, 9 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 son-in-law. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 11th 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Belmont 1st Ward, 16925 N 5200 W Garland Ut. Viewings will be held on Thursday, September 10th 2009 from 6-8 pm at Rudd Funeral Home 1234 S Main Garland Ut., and on Friday September 11th 2009 from 11:30 -12:40 at the church.
