John William Silvester died July 1, 2012 at his home in Tremonton, UT. He was born August 22, 1959 in Idaho Falls, ID the son of John Arthur Silvester and Joyce Gilbert. He attended Skyline High School in Idaho Falls. John served an LDS mission to the Philippines, Manila mission. He was married for time and all eternity to his best friend Charlene Summers on May 10, 1985 in the Idaho Falls, ID temple. Interests include outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing, photography, trips to Yellowstone National Park with his family, reading and anything related to firearms. John spent much of his spare time engulfed in service to his family, friends and community. He was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. John is survived by his wife Charlene, his children; Eric (Cassie), Michael (Kaylee), Brittney (John) Harlow and Nathan. Preceding him in his death is his father John Arthur Silvester, his paternal grandparents Mary Jane and James Silvester and his maternal grandparents Vera and Howard Gilbert. The Silvester family would like to extend their thanks to Access Home Health and the members of the Tremonton 5th Ward for their compassionate service during this difficult time. Viewings will be held on Thursday July 5, 2012 from 6-8 pm and Friday July 6, 2012 from 9 - 10:30 am at the Tremonton 5th Ward Chapel, 300 South Tremont Street, Tremonton. The funeral will be held Friday July 6, 2012 at 11 am at the Tremonton 5th Ward Chapel. Interment will be at the Tremonton-Riverview Cemetery.
